Probably because of the massive anti-synergy between a devoting two slots to a party heal and using a combat technique designed to focus all damage on to single character.

Either you've got all agro held by the tank in which case SoL is wasted slots or your melle has can't block properly and you're better off not using a bonder at all

Seeds of life may be one of the only skills that trigger through the bonds, which alows the monks to not even get close to the tank and heal, it's like remote healing. SoL is primarily used to heal the tank, but has the side benefit of healing the party as well. This may come in handy if a spell caster foe is hanging back and hits the Damage Dealers, or if the group is getting a little condition on them such as disease burning etc. It use to be that SoL was 8-9 seconds and with two monks and 20% enchantment extension it could almost be a continual heal.

Simple enough. You will only find such garbage builds in PUG teams. For example if you were to do an FoW run, the usual format is one Healer, and one bonder (for PUGs). You would suggest that the healer bring life bond, that the bonder throw balzth spirit on the healer so that the healer can tap into the energy provided by the tank. It fails for the following reasons:

1) Healer doesn't need the extra energy, that's why there is a bonder, to mitigate damage.
2) Bonder will complain that now he has to maintain an extra enchant.
3) Once you ping your bar and the party leader sees Life Bond on your bar you will be kicked.

Therefore it isn't worth the hassle. If your point of starting this thread was to endeavor as to if the build could work, well sure. Would anyone go through the trouble, no. The extra energy isn't needed, and good teams don't run bonder builds at any rate.

BTW FOW is easy and any team can pretty much run area and does not take a specialized team to complete relatively fast. Using it for energy is only a secondary benefit, its the monks ability to seed each other that is the fundemental reason. For areas that have massive groups that can be gathered on the tank and quickly killed is the primary reason for this type of team.
